Is there somewhere down Wellington Point way? The BBQs need to be close to where we can park the cars.

Wivenhoe sounds alright... either way I am sure you guys can work out a good meeting spot, i will just work towards having a reliable enough car to make it there (and possibly back home aswell)

what about the park below the grand view hotel in cleveland.(not sure of the name of the park??? )
it has electric BBQ, large open space, play equipment etc... not always busy... and you can see your car clearly from the bbq area!
just another spot you can look at.

I think we'll never get a uniform date and place that suits everyone - so why not set a date & place and if you can make it that's great.

Here's a variation though - informally have these every 3 or 4 months and rotate the venue. That way if you miss one or its a big day out - then you can get to the next one that might be on your door step.

It would be making it a bit hard to co-ordinate these with Mt Cotton Hillclimbs, Noosa Sprints etc - because most people will be on the track. But you could bring a supporters club for those that want to see the cars in action and not static.
