Its coming up, and I'll probably be whacking my engine back in the night before and firing it up 5 minutes before I have to leave the house, power getting to the wheels not through a tired old 3 speed auto, but a brand spanky (refurbished) 5 speed!
Surprisingly it'll be my first All Ford Day, and my first outing with my car club in a _looong_ time!
So who else is going, and what will you be in? I'll be the lunatic in the multiple shades of yellow mk2 escort coupe with the granny slats on the rear window.

That's excellent Sean! I haven't given the guy a ring yet, do you think he'd still accept my entry? I've been too busy organising getting the car ready!

no worries craig, you'll see it then for sure...
i think so keith, he seemed a bit flustered on the phone but just said to get my forms and money in as they need to get the stickers etc sorted out (must before the goodies bag) i would say do it early as possible though (call him first to make sure)

I called the guy today and he said it was OK to send the entry in this week. You're not wrong about being flustered though.
He mentioned that they have too many cars already- looks to be a big show
Now I have no excuse to not get the car up and running! Anyone got access to a car trailer I can borrow for a carton?

cut and pasted from the e-mail....
Hi Craig.
Gates open for cars at 6am and for the public at 10am.
Pls make sure you have your windscreen sticker fixed to the top centre of the windscreen if you have paid up already and also bring along your receipt to collect your goodies bag.
Also remember Daylight Saving starts 2am Sunday morning of the All Ford Day so make sure you adjust your time prior.

mmm....early....Don't get there too late, nothing worse than setting everthing up then having to shuffle everyone around at the last minute....I'm saying this but I know it's going to happen anyway!!
I was planning on leaving home at 6. Liam and I are setting it all up so there is no point in getting there before us if you know what I mean. Aim for 7-8 and you will be right.

Holy crapola that is early!
Shouldn't make too much of a difference to me though as I'll probably be up all night finishing off the car!
Got the gearbox, clutch cable and quick shift today, just gotta put my spare engine into the car and get her started now. Hey if anyone's free on Saturday to lend a hand and pitch in?
Kurt's offered me the use of his mk1 for the day just in case, so I'll be giving him a call shortly to let him know it might be happening!
