Brings back memories when Colin moved from HDT to FORD and started the Rally team and drove for Moffat.
They actually bought out a magazine called Rally which had articles about the cars and listed parts that you could build your own Escort with.

THE SPECS
1976 FORD Escort RS2000
Engine: 1998cc single overhead cam TL20 Pinto with an extended sump and oil cooler. Engine includes Cosworth rods, TRW pistons, chrome rockers and Weber 45mm twin sidedraft carburettors
Transmission: Ford Bullet (2000E) four-speed close-ratio gearbox
Power: 138kW (185bhp)
Brakes: 10.5 cross-ventilated discs with four-pot callipers (f); 10.25 inch discs (r) with Ferodo brake pads and adjustable brake bias
Suspension: Variable spring with modified Capri struts, which have been braced and strengthened with Bilstien inserts and roller bearing tops (f); radius arms with Kennard rod, turreted for vertically-positioned Taikiko Green Gas shocks (r)
Wheels: Rebel 13” x 6” aluminium four-spoke rims with Dunlop tyres
Weight: 980kg

Big reason why the fuel tank was moved to between turrets though....wouldn't want to clout a bank with the rear of that setup! Kaboom!
