Had a look and it's a great article. There's a lot of Escort photos which is a surprise, normally Escorts get one small photo of a group of cars. And some nice looking Twin Cam Escorts as well which I have a soft spot for.
While I was in the newsagent, also picked up a copy of Retro Ford which is full of MK1 s, and has a good article on a original Zakspeed MK2.

Thanks for the welcome. Most of the Aussie Ford mags don't feature small Fords, even less Escorts unless they have a V8 in them. There allways exceptions but not to many, we have been lucky to have had our Concourse & Display Day covered for the past 3 years each year it has become bigger, to the point we are now the largest small Ford club in Australia. About 50% of our club is Escorts not to take away from our other small Ford members. We are about to put on a big display at the NSW All Ford Day then it's full steam ahead to our C&D Day in November, this year we hope to go over the 90 cars on display. Just a little plug (you can join and display on the day or just come out and have a look at some great cars)

Roy, you may be interested to know that Darren, Nev and myself are all former Presidents of the long defunct Small Ford Car Club of Qld!!!!

Our club exchanged mags with you a long time ago, if I remember I think you were the president at that stage. It's a small world, I remember reading about some things in your club then we didn't get any more mags. I gathered something must have happened, it's a real shame as there's not much up in Qld, club wise and I get asked all the time. If I remember you sent me a list of parts you had gathered over time as well. I'm glad you made your self known and it's good to catch up.
