We ran a 4.1 Neville, with 205/60 13 tyres, but will go back next time with a 4.4. The car got off cam and wouldnt pull out of Murrays Corner for a few second in 2nd gear for example, mind you if I carried more corner speed, It might not be a problem. I didnt really like using 1st out of The Cutting either.
cheers Ted

Ted what sort of RPM did it get to into the chase

Into the chase max was 211kph, which works out at 8050, which is why i reckpn the 4.4 would be ideal. Mind you 210kph with 1960 aerodynamics is pretty fast enough.
cheers Ted

I bought one of these little red boxes
http://www.racerecall.com/qstarz-10hz-b ... miaebdt800that I may or may not have put into the car

(not really pre 1965)
as a new to circuit racing guy, it is pretty good to see where you can pick up a bit of time
cheers Ted
