Here is a video of myself and 356mal at the King Edward Park hillclimb in Newcastle last Sunday.

Congrats to Mal and maybe i'll come back next year and try and get a little closer to the Beetles that are running 3 SECONDS faster than our pace!!!!!!!!

Thanks Mal. That was a very SMOOTH run. Something that I have to work on!!!!
They will probably only get more Queenslanders down if they can be sure of getting both days. It was a very long way to come for a single day.

I'll second that Mal and you'll need to remind JC of that as especially with the running costs of my thing as he didn't have much of a clue about as he suggested I just bolt on a set of old tyres and have a go
I wish it were that simple

yes I agree unfortunatley we where caught out
it was the first year we have ever had to knock back entries
and there where 30 cars knocked back so we where on a hiding to nothing
lessons have been learnt and it will not happen next year
we also had the weather against us with heavy rain on monday am but it did clear by lunch time and we managed to get through 3 runs albeit on a shortened track because we had to get the cars off the grass in the top pit area

You would be most welcome to come up and join the "Escort Nutters" anytime. Why don't you start planning for the Queensland Hillclimb Championship next year? It was held in late May this year. It is a "one off" event and we often get visitors from over the border.

You guys should come down and do the speed weekend. First weekend in december. Conrod Supersprint on saturday and mountain straight hillclimb on sunday. I wish the australians were on the mountain straight hillclimb not the esses!
