Due to the large number of bogus accounts being set up recently, I've changed the registration authorisation process to the highest level - that being approval by Admin (which is me).

This will mean it will take a day or so for your account to be activated, so please be patient during this time.

This is all due spammers ? who are deluging the board with fake registrations to shopping, finance and the obligatory sex sites. If it settles down a bit I'll change it back to the solely user registration process but for now.....

You'd think people would have better things to do with their time.

Please note generally hotmail email accounts are banned due to the high number of bogus registrations using them.

If you are trying to register on the forum and you only have a hotmail account, please email me your details and I'll process the registration.

Can a 'guest' actually access your email address ?

It depends on the setting in your profile.

If have the "always show my email address: " set to "yes" then everyone who visits can see your email. If you have it set to "no" then no one can see it and they have to contact you via PM.
