I've been trying to send a PM to a member. Logged in twice a day looking at new posts and the message is still sitting in the outbox.
Do you have to remain logged in for an extended time when sending personal messages, or does the recipient have to log in also to receive the message?

Steve, i've had one I sent to a mate sitting in my Outbox since January 2010 . He is not a regular contributor but he has definitely been logged in since then. Mystery!! Maybe he has PM's blocked? I know he doesn't answer texts either!!

For PM's the recipient has to log in to receive it before it is cleared from your Outbox.

If it just sits there then the other possibility is that the persn you're trying to contact has PM's blocked as Gary has suggested.

Does the person have an email address showing in their profile?
