Just letting you know I logged in just now and received a a message maximum logins attempted
enter security number below message.
As this was my first login since early this afternoon, someone must have been trying to bust my password.

do you guys ip log? it might be helpful, as my IP is not static but it pretty well remains the same until I reboot the modem.
Just a heads. And give me the IP if its different to mine Nev so I can inform there ISP.

My IP range is 219.90.162.XXX

yeah Im curious if it was browser cache clean I did the night before or a legit attack on the website.

That statement will come up if as it says someone has tried your login unsucessfully after 3 times or if you've lost the cookie for the website. In fact most login issues are cookie related and the latest version of IE has additional security components which can give some trouble from time to time.

On the subject of logging IP's, yes every visitor has their IP logged. There are a range of options under the Admin control panel to help in this situation plus those of the site host. Fortunately hackers don't seem too interested in old Escorts (cars that is ) so we've been fine so far. We have hit the radar of Google though due to the site traffic as they sent me an offer to join Google Ad Words recently

Yes Im surprised how close to the top of search list this forum gets when searching different escort related words.
It even beats ebay every now and then if you block google ads like I do.

Thanks for your reply Nev, but 10yo laptop died on the weekend so now have a new Toshiba lappy with all the bangs and whistles so I'll so if that fixes my problem as my login this time went without a hitch.
