Uploader Now Functional
Posted: Fri Feb 03, 2006 8:06 pmI'm happy to say we now have an uploader working in the forums, meaning you can now upload images & docs directly from your PC to the forum.
When making a post you will notice a section at the bottom for "Add an Attachment". Basically use the "Browse" button to find the file on yor PC them hit the "Add Attachment" button.
There is a link for "Allowed Extensions & Sizes" which shows you the various file types you can attach plus the size limitations. It is set at a max of 3 attachments per Post and 1 per Private Message.
Obviously this chews up the RSM server space so can I ask that when uploading files try to make them as small as possible. Also, think twice before attaching anything - see if it adds to the discussion in some way or is it just making it look pretty. If it starts to become a dumping ground I'll have to review the usage in some way.
