RS Motorsport :: Classic Speed Restored

Hi guys, just joined up to the forum and this is my project

Mk2 escort coupe, painted in 2pak dark blue with a purple pearl (beleive it was a suzuki swift factory colour).

currently no motor or gbox in atm, but have a 2l pinto with sierra injection manifold, EMS fuel & ignition ecu, stage 4 fast road cam w double valve springs, vernier cam wheel thats just about to go in for a full rebuild to get these parts fitted.

gbox is a celica 5 speed steel case box with pinto suited belhousing, custom tailshaft to hilux LSD, 4.11 ratio (i think)

suspension is running Kmac adjustable sway bars front and back, Kmac adjustable strut tops, king springs and monroe gas struts up front with 5 leaf reset 2.5" and anti tramp rods in the rear.

interior has red fixed back racing bucket seats, 3 point TRS racing harnesses, half roll cage, autometer guages etc

some other parts to be fitted are a power window kit, central locking, keyless entry, alarm and some sound system components.

i know the bonnet may not be to some people taste, it was from the previous owner. i want to swap / sell it off for a standard bonnet and leave it with hood pins.if anyones interested in the bonnet please let me know.

i havnt touched this thread for a bit, not much progress really.

i have got myself a bigger brake setup for the front, this includes a pair of volvo 4 pot calipers, and chunky brembo rotors. i'll get out and take some pics within the upcoming days in an effort to get motivated and working on the esky again!
