Thought it time to post some pics of my rs. Had undergone a 6 year resto by previous owner with all the hard work done. ( damn work hindered my own project).
Runs Blue printed balanced 2ltr twin 45 webers, the lumpiest cam out their ,I think. Hates anything below 2500rpm.Dyno 129hp at the wheels.
Just finished brake upgrade but still not real flash.
I am led to beleive that its a genuine 110k car. Original seat trim although showing signs of it needing refurb.
Gearing this puppy up for hill climb in 2007 and some sprints.
Pics shown with Gary's old enkei rims and some sticky rubber. Simmons on it look good but way too much wheel spin.
Heading out to Mt Cotton on the 11th Feb for the try day so I'll see how we go.
Cheers

Hi Mark,
Nice looking RS. Yellow was always my favorite colour in those.

Yeah but which lines to show you guys
a. the politically correct nice lines - or
b. the quick lines ie. where to cut across the grass and drag crap all over the track

You can still go reasonably fast Mark...without pissing off the stewards!!

Danny, you could show me the quick lines first. I'll bring a broom along to clean up after me.
Isn't it great having adjustable Konis! Just spent 4 hours under the damn thing trying to loosen it up. Not sure what setting you guys run ...HARD Soft or somewhere in between? I am going to be on a steep learning curve I'll bet ya.

i have realised that lots of you down there run 15" wheels on your old skool motors, its not something that really happens much up here, so it takes a bit of getting used to.
stick the others back on, they look cool
