Bilstein Capri Style front Struts with coil over conversion.
65mm 300lb King Front springs.
Bilstein Front Group 2 Dampers.
Bilstein Rear Group 2 Dampers.
Reverse eyed, decambered rear leaf springs (Kings).
New tyre rod ends, euro RS spec.
Noltec Top mounts.
4 piston Volvo front callipers.
Capri 2.8L ventilated discs (Front).

Good god man why haven't I seen this (and had a buzz around the block in the passenger seat) at the club meetings? Shall have to look out for it in February!

Will have to wait until July for my next club meeting as I'll be either in the eastern states or Overseas until then. Look forward to showing off the pride and joy though.

No probs. I was really worried that the 300's would be too hard for the road, but I really wanted the car to be far stiffer than it was so I could do some track work. However just yesterday I took the Mrs for a drive in the RS from Rockingham to Mundaring wier. Her comment after getting there was that it didn't seem too hard a ride afterall. I also agree. Yes it is hard, but very livable. And the handling has improved 100%. I do think part of the secret is getting decent dampers to go with the springs to improve to ride that the 300's provide.

Have you ever considered going the turbo route? Your setup would be able to take a small turbo without much hassle at all? Or are you a purist for the atmo sound and feel?

Before I rebuilt the Pinto I had planned on a turbo, but the cost and legal issues stopped this from happening. Glad I didn't in the end as she's got good power and when I get my quad throttle bodies put on, she should sound awesome.
