Well the slack ass painter finally got off his ass and painted, polished and re-assembled the MK1. I took these photos last night. after its first wash.

Had do dig deep to find this post. While I have been collecting parts for the cosworth engine I have started collecting other parts for the rest of the car
Flocked Dash, should look 1000 times better than the brown cracked on in it now...and its 6 dial

Im in the process of cutting the dash insert up and installing new Autometer gauges. probably going for 80mm Tacho, water temp, oil pressure, oil temp and boost if I can get them to fit. I may not use the volts one but it was cheap

Also collected 6 15x8 alloys, that need a refurb but should help control the turbo motors power.

Thats one beautiful MK1 but as you're asking the wheels definately do not suit, I think they are too bold & draw attention away from the car, it needs old Skool style rims, regards Paul.

have moved away from he idea of those wheels and opted for a more old school/oldskool 5 spoke in 15 inches...will be white though. has to be white...though the more I think of it perhaps they should be black to suit the boot and bonnet. Ohh this is going to cause anguish.
