RS Motorsport :: Classic Speed Restored

Hi all, ive got a 1980 Mk2 Escort 1600 Sport which is turbo'd. Ive had her since 2005 and have always tried to improve her. The current setup is a mk1 Cortina GT cyl head. It was ported, polished and the valve seats was cut at 3 angles. Ive also fitted a set of Kent VS7 springs. The cam was cut for the turbo application and all the bolts were changed to ARP stud kits. I am running a locally made Dictator fuel management system, Bosch 440cc injectors and a Bosch 044 fuel pump. The intake was built by me and a friend, the turbo is a Garrett T3/T4 hybrid. At the moment the power is 192whp@14psi of boost.

Well done building the intake yourself. I was quoted AUD$2500 WITHOUT fuel rail, injectors etc here for a custom plenum to suit pinto.
