Not much progress though I'm back in Adelaide for Christmas and did get to see it. And its still there.
I have managed to pickup a crank angle sensor chop wheel 36-1 and Coil on plug conversion for the yb.
Oh and started the rebuild on the Suzuki engine as a turbo!

So looks like a return to Oz (adelaide) somewhere between December and March as the Project wraps up, unless they send me to New york!
Have had a bit of time to turn my attention to this again.
You might have sen ive asked about dry sump-ing... now ECU.
The Suzuki has a haltech ECU and I've been quite happy with it, im contemplating purchasing a new one with dash. I dint think I can or want to stretch to Motec prices so seeking advice on alternatives and any experience with the elite (1500) ecu. Or alternatives that have logging dash, local support and reputation.
I will be going Coil on plug and removing the Distributor.

Dude an M84 is only $1950 so don't touch a Halaltech!

Agree Danny. The M84 is about to be discontinued so was looking at the M130GPR and CDL dash with the equivalent bells and whistles to he Haltech e1500 and IQ3. The motec is twice what I can get the Haltech for. I know Motec is better. Is it worth twice the money?

Yep especially when the Halaltech plays up or doesn't want to be configured for the sensor you want to and not the one they want to sell you

Is this from experience Danny or internet heresay. I've got a Haltech in the swift and its been trouble free in tuning and use. cant say the same for the Rods!

Should be back Just before christmas. So I have been collecting parts in a mad rush.
Just arrived is the fiberglass spoiler like this one! not the lower splitter bit though. This is what mine will be built like too.
Also purchased GRP4 adjustable strut tops as they look simpler to operate than the ones in it.
Hydraulic clutch pedal for the pedal box,
GRP4 short steering knuckle as the one I have must be long.
Motec M130 ECU with wiring and the logger dash (ill blame Danny if it goes wrong)
every electrical tool I can think off for rewiring the car as I have an unterminated new loom.
Also Im considering this.
https://polevolt.co.uk/acatalog/Modular ... ystem.htmlany thoughts.

The terminals are decent.
Big increase in fuse count, do you need that many?

I dont need to use them all. Was thinking possibly only 3 modules. But it looks neat and tidy and integrated.

Sounds a bit cart before horse.
Do a bit of planning on actual needs and buy accordingly.
Start with the same fuse count as ford fitted.
Add fuel pump/s and relays
Add ECU fuse/relay requirements.
Add EFI sensor/actuator fuse/relay requirements.
Thermo's maybe.
I like auto reset circuit breakers. Especially on thermofans.

There is a rule in my household in that im not aloud up late, on the computer within 10 feet of my credit card. In fact I must be supervised when I have access to the banking facilities. But shhhh...paypal!
Still struggling to find a reasonable argument why USA dry sump systems are better than UK ones. lots of blank opinion but no hard and fast evidence or explanation
