And I thought I had cut it fine last time we left for pastures beyond, having only finished the forest arches with 4 weeks to go, Looks like its going into the container with wet paint.
I sit very low...im over 6 foot and can just see the front arch high point!







First time on its wheels on the ground in 2 years. And it wouldn't roll. forgot to remove the prop shaft off the floor prior to dropping it down, its too long and doesn't fit! and the floor sat on it!.
it is such a little car

It can be packed away almost!

Thanks guys, I'm happy with it so far but disappointed not to get it finished. Damn subazuki took way too long.
Danny, container is not going anywhere, but we are off th the UK again. 18 months we should know what the medium term holds. If we stay it comes over with our stored stuff.

Yes Danny, must report to detention every few years when an airport needs designing, will spend next 18 months locked away with the team.
And I've run out of new parts to fit to the escort, so have to go back for more!

that matte black paint job with the white interior, wheels and underside just pushes all the right buttons for me.

For me too! Pity it doesn't last well, subazuki paint is near 3 years old and has needed redoing for about 12 months.

The Left hand watts bracket is the wrong way around and bottom out on the rail
I remember seeing that early on thing "that's going to be interesting"

No thats ok, checked it when you originally mentioned it and it has full articulation with about 5mm to spare.
but I put the watts in to the wrong sides, drivers side is in the way of the exhaust isnt it!.

Are you going under or over the diff
I'd still bet if you haven't chopped a section out of the rail that it will still hit
Also flick the tail shaft loop at the rear as it will do more damage than good

Was planning to go under. Might be able to go under then turn up between diff housing and watts link then over the link to muffler mounted to boot floor.
Big notches in chassis rails too.
