and it took me 7 years to rebuild it
now I cant wait to race it !!

That's a gorgeous looking car Mal - very nicely done.

A couple of my 'older' friends up on the Gold Coast have bought Formula Fords in recent years and carried out full restos on them. Utterly drool worthy - I'm worried I'm going to start lusting after one for myself before I've barely even started the Escort!

gee mal it looked like a "crusty ol demon " then

Yep, and the red and blue annodizing had to be stripped from the hose fittings too, as well as a few other nit picky things. But hey, the K&N filter was fine!

I felt older after lapping eastern creek!
they are fun to drive but will take some getting used to
it is not like jumping in the escort
