The Prado will need to make room in the garage for an RS.

OK finally got it home on Friday and have I had a good weekend or what.

We had a party here last night for our sons 21st and I spend the first hour or more giving joy rides. Did I mind? not at all.

One side affect are sore checks from the constant grin.

My brother came over today in his Saleen Mustang so we went for a few fangs and found a nice spot for photos.

It's so much fun to drive.
The induction noise is addictive.
Then there's the burble and pops from the exhaust when you lift off and the subtle whistle from the turbo.
I have't got the secure unlock code for the stereo yet, but who gives a rats when you can listen to the symphony.
Even down low in the rev range like 1000 to 2000 rpm it pulls nicely. Not like the WRX which has nothing below 3000rpm.

Had me fooled and I'm sure Aleisha's a lot happier with this type of white RS. Only problem is you my have is attacking to much attention from idiots who speed up beside you, then brake and speed off again, or sit on your ass because your car stands out in a crowd. It really starting to give ME the shits!!!!!!!!

I can't imagine why everyone thought it was an Escort.


We certainly get noticed.

First time Aleisha drove it was in the wet. We were coming round a corner and there's this guy half hanging out of the passenger window of a Hilux having a good look. Aleisha started to accelerate so I told her not to show off, just in case.
I don't need to explain why a front wheel drive car with that much power accelerating around a corner in the wet.

Then the other day sitting in traffic at a red light, the guy behind was taking pictures with his phone.

I won't let anyone drag me into a race, I'm to old and wise for that now.

I have a story about getting involved in a game of cat and mouse when I was younger with a motorbike at night. The fun stopped when blue lights started flashing on the bike.

lol...reminds me when I was a kid, had my mums 202HQ coming down cement hill (tapleys hill rd) me a this corrolla getting complete sideways and swapping lead around the corners drifting lanes. We got to the lights and I look over and his cop uniform was hanging up on rear passenger grab. We were both grinning ear to ear, thumbs up.
These days you would be taser'ed till ya ball caught fire.
