The body has been seam welded and fitted with an adjustable watts linkage (from inside the boot). Along with new gearbox mounts, sill stand mounts, muffler mounts etc.

Painted the engine bay, interior and boot in 2 pac white, but now it has turned a cream colour. That serves me right using free paint.........
The blue is a protec 2 pac and seems to good and easy to use.

looks great clayton, any reason why you didn't put gussets from your chassis rails to the firewall? just out of curiousity.

Thanks Kizza
Yeah as Danny said, we cant have any bar work outside of the cabin area (apart for a strut brace between two points) Late model Improved Production (post 86) can.
The next best thing was to brace the firewall to the cage.
Upgraded the English diff to a early model Hilux. Using Mk1 Escort front calipers with the piston bores sleeved down to 1 1/2" (Volvo pistons).
The disc is from a Volvo, but cant remember the model.

The original engine went back in, with only the headers and mounts changed.
Upgraded the gearbox from the type 9 to a W57 Supra.

Trying to get fuel capacity without having the tank too low, had to have some of the tank in the boot, but our rules only allow a max hole of 300mm dia, hence the shape.
With fuel foam fitted it holds 37 litres. Just in case we want to run E85 or longer races in the future.

it could be used on a rally car , squirt the stuff out the front of the car to ward off any gum trees from getting in the way
