well im sure most of you have seen the pictures of my old escort after the fuel hose come off.
if you haven't



so ive been looking for another escort. turns out i bought 2.


the first one (4door) is just a daily. couldnt say no for $900. its just a 1.6 but its quite clean, no leaks, new brakes and new clutch. its got rust in the usual escort places though.





the second one (2door) is going to be my new project. after building my old one up from the shell i kinda wanted somthing a little easier. then i found this.

bored out to 1800cc, port and polished, roller rockers, 45 side draught,extractors,electronic fuel pump, electronic ignition.

its only got some slight surface rust and need new paint. along with a few new things but its a great base start.
i only got it last night and took it round the block today. thing goes hard.

well done a little bit on the green esky so far.

a clean firstly lol


i made some coilovers for the front

-GAZ adjustables
- 10" 250lbs springs
-eccencric strut tops
-ventilated and slotted rotors

still running standard diamater discs and clipers though...for now







done a little bit to the rear end too. not much yet though

- tranx lsd
-GAZ adjustable shocks


thing is fun arund the corners though

also made a change to the front





i took the 4 door up to a mates place up bush.

got a bit dirty






come up tops after a clean though






last but certanly not least.
i got a painting done of my old escort which perished. loved that car so much

i love the picture of the blue one covered in mud
a picture speaks a thousand words in this instance
as a cop said to me once - looks like yu been havin fun there son . with mud dripping on to his boots
but thats another story
