Hi all,

heres my 4 door rally car ive been builind and using for the last year and a half only have done 5 events so far, and everytime its shown areas that need development... i still love her and would trade it for anything...well maybe a BDA! but anyhow this is my toy!

been ages since a post or update on what ive been doing to my car so may as well put some pics and stuff up

since mid last year ive used the car a few times.. but mianly been doing upgrade and stuff so far ive:
- Built a disk brake rear end and installed a bias valve
- rewired all my spotlights with better gauge wire
- bult up and installed a tran-x close ratio 4-speed
and so far so good it all works really well :grin:

- also ive just re-built a really good head ive had under the bench for a year or so with manly valves Kent RL31 cam etc which will botl onto a new bottom end im just about to start :grin:

and on the way is a tran-x LSD anda 4.7 CWP so that should be done in a few months i cant wait to have it all done...

Oh also ive built a Celica rally car (sainz replica) for my mate who decided to roll it on its first event...doh..

heres a few random shots of the disk rear end and what not.. plus for nostalgic reasons a few shots of her when i built it

with my jungle gym roll cage hehe and the build of the celica i did .. and the after math!

It really was a Sainz replica Celica, right down to the roll. Just like Sainz in Perth all those years ago

went to marulan to the driver training centre on friday was a top day did 90 odd laps sharing the car with my old man heres a quick video and snaps from my iphone.. not the best but u get the idea :grin:

will have incar footage up in a few days i hope!

haha funny you should say that cam.. i had a set of rally tyres in the ute i wanted to whack on and have some fun on the dirt buy alas...no.. ah was a good excuse to run the gearbox in and generally thrash the ol girl

rallysprint on the 10th of april though! :grin:

did a rallysprint on the weekend just gone went great started car 56 of 60 and ended up 39th & 5th in class lots of 4wds and turbo 2wds and 3 BDA's! 2 mk1's and a mk2 all running BDG's :grin:
