Iv'e posted a heap of pictures on here of everyones cars in the past, so thought it was about time i put up some of my own. so for those people who are wondering if i actually own a car, yep i sure do and here it is...
The first shot was taken at it's first real outing which was All Ford Day 02', since then i have changed to 15" rims, changed number plates & gone twin 40's otherwise untouched. Build is 10/1980 so would be one of the lucky last...

Hi All,
Well i had been thinking of a Mk1 for a while, however not much has popped up at the right time, until now. Originally a one owner 1973 1300XL that was purchased by Vic at Currie Bros Engines in Taree, who decided it needed a face lift. It was sprayed in Hot Orange (1970 Escort Colour), Capri struts installed, Vented rotors and 4 pot brakes, pedal box, 6 dial dash etc etc and most important a Twin Cam / 711M added.
The Twin Cam head was donated form an original Escort Twin Cam rally car that was written off after a brush with the scenary. It is built on a 711M block which has a balanced bottom end with forged pistons, running Waggott Cams. Besides a little issue with the clutch slave (now re-built) and water pump, the car is in great condition and should be on the road very, very soon... here are some pics.

Thanks gents, the colour certainly is bright

It may take a little longer than hoped to get it on the road as i have decided to go with the modular water pump $$, at least no head removal required in the future. Yeah Mark, once going i'll have a look at the interior though the seats are very nice. Ahh welcome to Twin Cam ownership!
CheeRS Michael.
