RS Motorsport :: Classic Speed Restored

hey all.
just thought id show some before and afters of my esky.

its a 79 mk 2 door 2lt, pretty much stock.

i bought it for $400 as a project for me when i was 16 it was defected for holes in the floor and a few other minor things.

this is how it came





and this is the motor i pulled out of another escort



the motor was in bad nick. the head was a throwaway job. i rebuilt the motor myself because i wanted to learn how to do it.

this is how the car looked after a bit of a wash.



i pretty much replaced the whole front end suspention and steering and diff as all were rooted.

im 18 now and have had it on the road for about 6 months. love it to peices. its still rough around the edges but it runs well, havnt had a problem yet.
i did everything myself so i could learn. it passed roadworthy first go which is somthing im proud of
its an ongoing project so i will add new things as they come ( when i get money....to spend)
