Escort sickness, Shauns Ghia

Got to admit to having no idea why we bought this. Was a classic case of seeing a car so nice that you just had to have it. Bought this with a mate of mine, I expect we will be arguing over who gets to cruise in it….
Sold new in November 1978 to an Italian gentleman from Cameron Dawson Ford in Melbourne. Took until September 1981 to get its 10000 klms service and has just clicked over 89000 klms.
I don’t know much about Ghias but this a factory manual and I have only ever seen auto’s. Anyone know what the shifter knob should look like?
I have included some shots of the stickers on the front and rear screens as these look original. Spare also looks original, has been used once or twice but is still 90%.Jack and wheel brace is still in its hessian bag. Also still has traces of the protector plastic down the sides of the rear seat. Looks like it had a battery let go at some stage as the bonnet has been painted.
Cheers
