my <$3000 mk1 coupe project

less than $3k sounds weird i know, but i am a poor mofo atm, and i can always improve later. is a labour of love.
i got the body minus engine for $600, all straight cept for ding in front right, and minor rust in firewall, and paint turned to shite. included round lights grill!!!!
i got worked 1600kent with 4speed and some nice bits for $320 (running total 920) and scored mk2 struts, steering rack, and brakes, and esxtractors for $200(1120) from pitstop adelaide (CHAMP!)
my good mate gave me racey seats as trade for a punching bag (another champ!) but they are mk2, and i need to alter floor to make em fit(?)
i spent $16.50(1136.50+punchbag) on ported webber ddraught manifold,
$20 on new dash
plus the usual bits, pieces, maybe... $200? (1356.50+punchbag)
kent is bored out with wysco hi comp pistons, some kind of cam (dont ask, dont know) lightened fly and ported.
now, the probs... rubber is a budget blower, but its all dried out.
whats the deal with springs for the mk2 struts?
will normal brake cylinder/booster power mk2 brakes?
where do i get those FAT bubble arches? (i love them)(in adelaide btw)
and any ideas on how to fix this rust hole in my firewall????
