RS Motorsport :: Classic Speed Restored

I recently sourced a 2dr RS2000 for a friend of a friend....Who promptly bailed on me and I was left with a virtually rust free, disassembled car.
I'm eventually going to rebuild it to look like a UK version with black vinyl roof and blacked out rear panel. Have already sourced some ronal rims, injected head and anti-tramp rods, but since buying a XR4 Fiesta, I'm now thinking of doing a 2.0lt Duratec conversion.
Could be a few years before I get really stuck in, though.....I've got a Mk 3 Capri, Mk 1 Escort panel van, a Mk 2 4dr RS2000 and a V8 Capri all to complete before I even remove the tarp. Hopefully, duratecs will be appearing in wreckers by then.

Yes. RS2000s are getting really popular now and even 4drs are fetching decent money. I started sourcing cars for people a few years ago and you could get run-down ones for under a grand. With ebay becoming the main source of cars now, you can double that figure.
