i bought a MK2 RS from brissy and it has 13" four spoke dragways on it now, but i am not that keen on those rims. i am looking at the superlites and cant decide wether to get 13" with 205s or 14" with 195x60s....or even 185x60s
having to consider that i need to get this car registered here in WA
i havent had an escort in many years and cant for the life of me remember where the spare wheels is situated in the boot, will a 205 fit in the spare wheel place?

Hi mate,
The spare tyre goes in the passenger side and stands upright against the quarter panel. I have 205 60 13's and there is no chance it will fit as the original wheel and tyre was at best a 175 75 13 maybe even a 165.
Don't think even a 185 would fit but may be a squeeze.
I just ocky strap one on the floor of the boot .That's all I do.

I don't think a spare will fit on the drivers side as the inner guard section is different.
Sean, there's a set of B45's on Ebay at the moment for an Escort

Rhys, where did you get the space saver rim from?

yeah i saw those, and definitely considering them for sure...would 15s be ok though, kinda worries me....i cant really decide what is te best for the car....i guess any of them are good. failing those simmons, maybe some 14" superlites with 195,60s

The rears are 7" with rolled gaurds. Only scrapes at back with 205's on when I have rear passengers and go over bumps. Easy fix is not to take rear passengers
Paul, space saver is from good ol' Upullit. Think it was of a SAAB900. Also need different wheel nuts as SAABs use stud nuts not just a nut and std Escort nuts are too small.
I'm thinking the RS Im doing up could do with some B45's. Two matching pairs would be great
