Short track tyre compounds

I used to have it on good authority that Avon made the best hillclimb compounds. Does this still hold true as the A45 hillclimb compound is only available in 13" which for me would mean getting some 13" wheels made. (Actually I should ring Gordon Leven and confirm that).
Been reading some of the older posts here and not getting the required info.

I guess i had better measure up my 15" Simmons off sets and get some made in 13" before Retro Wheels goes out of business.
Unless anyone has better ideas

No, I haven't Danny. I've only dealt with Gordan Leven Motorsport. Might do a trawl around and see what's on offer. Situation with the A45 compound may have changed since 2008. When I bought the A15 compound that was the softest I could get in 15". i took the stretch wrap off the tire today to take that pic and the they still feel nice and soft so hopefully I'll get a season out of them even though they are getting old.
