Fiesta steelies

Postby Panko » Wed Feb 29, 2012 11:14 am

Hey guys,
Im new escorts, so please bare with me.
Ford escorts and fiestas have the same stud pattern yes? does that mean that their stockies will bolt straight on, without spaces or adapters? I need a set of matching diameter rims for road worthy, and good tyres. I have found a set of fiesta steelies at a wreckers, with good tyres. I just need to know if they will fit.

Cheers
Aaron

They will fit the stud pattern but they probably won't fit over the brakes or clear the strut tube. Unfortunately they will have a totally wrong Offset. Most Front wheel drive cars have a lot more negative offset than a rear wheel drive car. I definitely would not buy them without seeing if they fit first.

Someone maybe willing to lend you a set just to get your roadworthy.... Bit dodgy, but hey why not...

Saab seems to be the most commonly used.
