Crossply race tyres

Deciding on tyres - Hoosiers or Avons are the only ones making crossply slicks now. At least with black you won't see the brake dust. If I get time I'll redo them gold, otherwise.....
North terrace tyers are the OZ agents for goodyears.
I am hearing good reports about these especially on Historic touring cars, bigger cars, though.
