RS Motorsport :: Classic Speed Restored

I was just wondering if anyone can confirm the differance between the Mk2 rear bearing and the RS2000 rear bearing kit as i went to Repco today and they had a code for each? I thought all Mk2's are the same?

Any info would be appreciated...

Escort rear bearings

Hi Roger,

Thanks for that, what I got was 2742 for Escort and a 2746 for RS2000, so was wondering if anyone knows why? The Timken catalogue is 2742.

And with some more research the 2746 kit contains the following:
2x LM12749/10 & 2x L68149/10 & 2x P6099 oil seals & 2x Split pins

Anyway, the 2742 kit seems to be it, so take care if you have an RS2000 and you are looking for rear wheel bearings.

Thanks Danny, was just interested to find out the difference as the 2746 kit (RS2000) is about $10 cheaper so if thats all it is than i may as well go with that.
