Hello,

I am taking my MK1 Escort to the suspension shop for a wheel alignment.

Can someone please tell me what Toe, Camber and Caster you are running for a combination track, hill climb and jymkhana.

I have adjustable coil overs, adjustable lower control arms, adjustable strut tops and a camber adjustable sway bar, I am running 14" wheels and 888 semi slicks.

Cheers

I'm running about -4.5 camber, approx 7 caster and 1mm toe out. 275lb springs and i'm going to try some 300s soon to see how that goes. never measured the rear springs so i'm not sure what the rate is. 2 way adjustable konis on the front with 5clicks on bump and full soft on the rebound, bilsteins on the back. works quite well.

You probably don't want to push the bottom out too far as you can run out of thread on the tierods. The top of the strut should be about where it is in the pic, this is with stanadard lower arms and adjustable tc sized swaybar.

Thanks for the info, I bought the camber only adjustable strut tops so hopefully there will be enough caster adjustment with spacers on the sway bar?

I thought you would run some toe in?

If you've only got caster adjustment on the bar, you can only pull the lower arms forward so much. Pushing the tops back as well gives extra caster without having to hack too much out of the front of the wheel arch to get the clearance needed between the tyre and the guard. Toe out helps turn-in, the caster will keep it going straight.
