RS Motorsport :: Classic Speed Restored

I've tracked down the rattle in my front left strut to the top mount bearing. The middle part within the green is moving about a bit.
Is a bit of rattle from these things normal, or could it be a cheap bearing that might crap itself?



I got them from MC Motorsports over in the UK, but I'm just wondering if the bearing would be available locally, or do I need to get some shipped out? The inner dia is 20mm and the overall is 42mm. I saw that GRP4 fabrications sell the bearings but their one is 46mm.

I just thought I'd ask people more in the know before starting the trek around the bearing shops (not that there is too many locally)

Teflon lined top quality bearings, don't rattle when new. Cheap industrial do rattle from new.

Google spherical bearings, and buy a quality teflon lined chrome moly bearing of the same dimensions.

Thanks guys. I've been doing a bit of looking about.
The bearing in there is an SKF one (GEH20ES-2RS, 20mm hole, 42mm oa dia), but looking at their catalogue I might be better off with the Steel/PTFE one (GEH20TXE-2LS) or even the stainless version of that (GEH20TXG3E-2LS).
I found the Linear Bearings site on my travels too, and they were on the list to call tomorrow. I think I've seen them mentioned on here before.
