Ok, so I'm making the change from std bodywork and 13's to flairs and 15's, my question is just what can I do to the x member? The book says I can move the hole 45mm and add metal up to 75mm from a suspension orifice.
So, can I butt weld sheet to the end of the x member to widen it a bunch, put it in the mill, drill the holes the 45mm in probably 1/2 new 1/2 old steel by the look of it, bend up the nice lip as per factory then measure 75mm from the original holes and lop everything off that sticks out?
Also, I will need a wider swaybar, any one know who makes wider ones to order? Can a run a super soft bar, then have a secondary adjustable one?
