Tarmac Coil over spring rates?

Any thoughts on a good alround coil over spring rate for mk1 escort, with the full monty 2 lt lump in the front. Only use car for regularities and hill climbs etc, using bilstiens 300's ATM, with gartac's tension bar set up, all adjustable arms etc. I was supplied with 180 lb , 10.5 inch but I believe this is too soft for a 2 lt and hard driving. Want to buy Aus made product if possible

Thanks, I 'll try 275 first. Have been told 300's as well for track stuff, but for hillclimbs I wouldn't mind a little more flex. I have 180 rears from kings coming so I will try there fronts as well.

I tried 300's in my car but didn't like them so wen't back to 275's. Felt like it had more front end bite with the 275's.

after talking to tech info at "Kings" he indicated to me that the Ao50's are such an improvement over the 48's that they handle/ compliment increased spring rate really well, he was suggeting that i should try 300's as i will getting 50's shortly.

thanks for all the input to date

Just to bring up an old thread, is Kings the spring of choice in Australia? I use soft Yokahamas on my car and it seemed to have too much body roll in teh last event so was thinking of upping from 275/180lb. Also bottomed out on a large dip.
