RS Motorsport :: Classic Speed Restored

Ok, so I got 2 Capri struts with koni double adjustable shocks but they are both bent, one low a the bottom of the strut tube, the other right at the top of the shocks along the thread.
I need to get them out of the struts so I can get then evaluated, but how? Never removed front shocks befor, let alone out of a bent strut.

this wont help you remove them
but is the very reason why you should at least
sleeve the WHOLE strut tube!!! when doing coil over conversion
albeit slightly heavier but "bulletproof"

to solve your prob jblyte
cut the tubes to get the shocks out
the tubes are rooted anyway
then get new struts or weld new tubes onto the stubs
if you weld new tubes in with threads on the outside & better
wall thickness than std you are miles in front
