MK2 RS Strut Angle

Hi guys. I'm going to be increasing the wheel size from 13x6 inch 23p performance alloys on front to 7 inch of some make. Preferably with some dish. Standard Hub at the moment.
In diagram: The gap between the hub and the strut is approx 20mm. Between the thickest part of the tyre and the strut it's 8mm. The distance between where I measured from the hub to the thickest part of the tyre is 60mm. The width from the hub face to the tyre edge/face is 21mm. So I get 8.53 degrees of tilt on the strut?
So If I go to 15 inch, I.e. an extra inch (25.4mm) extra diameter up the strut I calculate the clearance will only "gain" an extra 3.8mm of space. Thus 20mm +3.8mm = 23.8mm, which means I won't be able to widen the wheels an inch inwards based on this offset?
The measurements weren't as precise as I'd like but it's the best I can do with the equipment I have.
