Hi Guys,

I have been trolling through the old topics as I am the process of upgrading my suspension on my Mk II.

In particular I want to do the following -

Front - 2 way adjustable Konis. What brand springs / rates should I run and part numbers for each. Are progressive springs the way to go?

Rear - Bilsteins and Kings spring reverse eye leafs. Again part numbers would be great.

Apparently you can get the leaf springs with an extra leaf put in to assist with rebound. Is this corect and what do you ask for when ordering?

My intention is limited track use in the future.

I have looked at all the old threads and there are heaps of info on what setups evryone has but I am hoping for some specific info.

I usually reply, then everyone tells me i am wrong

For the rear, 4 leaf Van springs with an extra main leaf from the opposite side(with the end eyes cut off) sandwiched together.
If your going for a new pair of leaf springs, go for the reverse front eye only.

I have run both Bilsteins and Koni shocks up front with King springs, KEEL-13. Bilsteins are my pick.

What are the advantages of reversing just the front eye of the spring?

And also were the fronts lowered as I am not sure if bilstein have lowered shocks? I may be wrong.

What poundage were the front springs or were the lowered off the shelf item?
