I've been reading a lot of the suspension threads in this forum.

I wonder why people cut into the floor when you can offset the bar to tuned length and use fairly short bars with no arcing movement

hopefully this sketch will be viewable



it should reduce the circular movement and increase the torque the arm applies.
I was planing to use this setup for a panhard rod and for axle tramp.

any thoughts

I dont think i could explain it better, but as the rod moves up the offset causes the pivot points to remain the same

I dont see this as the best way to mod the rear suspension, but I do see as a cheap way to achieve something I need now to stop my wheels rubbing on the guards
