Making your own anti dive

I made this awhile ago.
Old setup i had..............
Simon from spead used to make this above unit

My take on unit.........
Problems with this way is std rubbers dont fit.
So I got alternatives.................

Hey Roger,
I didn't make that one - it came on a car I bought once. This is one of the anti dives I made/make. I searched high and low a couple of years ago for double width brackets that could be bought locally, but without success. I'd really like to try and revise it a bit, but I just don't have the time at the moment.

Pardon my ignorance pal, but do these units just use the original bar? and what do they acheive? Do they stop strut movement forward under brakes by haveing more support for the bar?

what thickness steel are you guys using for the main channel ? as i got around 6 of these folded up for free

but outta 2mm is this enough? luckily from a steel place b4 it moved from our work
