ReAttaching Door Skins MK II 2 door

Hi guys,

I have taken off my door skins to have recoloured from beige to black and when I went to reattach them I have having issues in gettting them installed again.

The issue is the rear window seal seems to be preventing the door skin from wrapping around the door and stopping it from going in properly.

Has anyone done this before (I assume lot have) and do I need to remove the window glass panel?

Many thanks

Matt.

P.S. I can post pics if required

When you say 'door skin' i am assuming you mean the internal trim. I havent bothered reading your post before this because the door skin is the OUTER panel of the door and buggered if i know how to fit them!

The door trim can be fiddly to get in under the 1/4 window but they do fit without the window being removed. Otherwise you wouldnt be able to get the window back in with the door trim fitted. I usually use somethign like a spatula or similar to gently guide the trim under the rubber.

They arent hard, just be a little patient.
