Hi Guys,

Does anyone know where I can go to in Melbourne to have my crash pad / dash top recovered?

I am in the eastern suburbs but happy to travel.

Cheers,

matt

Hi mate,

Mine is being done in suede over the fiberglass filled cracks for $120 by a guy in Thomastown.

His work looks good. I'll post the final product in two weeks if you can wait.

Cheers.

i can recover dashes in clear gloss or satin
clear carbon fibre , vacumm bagged to the original dash
also , i have been playing around with a moulded clip on carbon fibre cover too
the theory behind this is , if you have a perfect dash put the cover on it to protect it
from the sun
or if you have a cracked one , repair the cracks , broken bits etc
then recover with carbon fibre
to actualy recover on old one is easier than making a new moulded cover

my RS2 crash pad was recovered in padded vinyl and cost me nothing! All for helping out a mate with his flat front Mk2.
