yep its a 5 speed, so it's tight anyhow.
The mount was soft, not broken anywhere which is why i was confused, put a new one in sat and its back to normal escort noises.
Think its touching somewhere a tiny bit may need to have a look with a hammer and bar

Given it's a 5sp, do you have the mount spacers in there to lower the back of the box a bit? If not it will place the box very high up in the tunnel and would not take much to hit the body.
