Is there anybody selling the rose-jointed 4 speed RS gearshift in OZ? I've been checking out the magazines from the UK and they are quoting 50 pounds each. Are they worth the effort of fitting them? Or is just get the kit to fit the standard gearstick? My original RS stick shat itself a while ago and using a standard one is not the same.

Can't help you with what's available in Aus but a good lever is definitely worth fitting. I had a single rail 4 speed box in my RS1600 fitted with what I think is a Quaife lever and it has an absolutely miles better shift than another car I have with the same box and a normal quickshift kit. The Quaife is so much better it's not even worth comparing to the standard type quickshift so if you can afford a good one spend the money.

I think it's a Quickco, maybe a kit shifter, not a full RS type shifter.
