Convert mk2 auto to manual where to drill for clutch cable

Im converting my 1976 escort mk2 from auto to manual and i need to know where to drill the hole on the firewall for the clutch cable Does anyone have photos and measurements ?
Also does anyone know if i can use my two peice auto tailshaft , the shaft fits in the 4 speed box but not sure about the length?

If your getting the parts from a wrecked car see if you can get the firewall plate with the pedal box as then youll have a guide where to drill and the protruding part the cable sits into.On another forum some one stated this part number ect
" p/n xc 7k518 a which is the reo plate on firewall also used in XC falcons with cable clutch"
