Yes I am after the same type of information.
Anybody have any ideas for a pinto that will hopefully turn to 8-8.5K, 180-200HP, circuit use?
Cheers

I created an excel spreadsheet a little while ago to help me with the same question. It converts gear and final drive into a single ratio so I could compare different setups in absolute terms. I've attached it so you can have a look.
I'm sticking with the std type 9 and have four rear ratios to switch between. 3.54, 3.77, 4.4 and 5.1.

Ran car last weekend at Morgan Park on the new extended circuit and was very happy with new gearbox, unfortunately this was the first time on the new layout for us all so was a little difficult to guage the exact improvement in the car, but it definitely was a heap quicker. The taller first gear took a bit of getting used too getting away off the start but this was more down to driver technique than any fault of the gearbox.
