Sorry Nev, but your wrong.
Type 9 gearbox has two fluid levels depending on the location of the filler plug in side of gearbox. The filler plug itself sits on a raised, oval shape surface.
If the filler plug is at the base of the oval shape, then requires 1.25 litres.
And if your plug is at the top of the oval shape, then it requires 1.9 litres.

whatever happened to the good ol method of
Fill it up till it starts to overflow then put the bung back in
pretty basic stuff realy
