Standard box has about 3.5 first gear.
If you can get it the GT close ratio box is better for the street, but you can still break them with a heavy foot.
GT box looks exactly the same, only way to check is do the numbers on the input/output shafts
close ratio not!

found out it's not close ratio but still trying to figure out what it is
extension housing where shifter sits is deeper than the gearbox in the 4door.
roger: what did u mean by do the numbers?
input shaft is 23 spline
output shaft is 25 spline
any ideas anyone?
