MY RS2 is fairly mild with a re-jetted 32/36. I use a Bob Holden 'copy' extractors from Rapid Exhausts, Wollongong, and I reckon they do the job really well. Not sure of dimensions but they are a decent size. I had a custom system(2") fitted to my design using as straight a run as possible from the extractors (2 bolt Flange welded on end) to the muffler(single) then over the diff in the standard fittings. I have noticed that this system is the best I've had fitted over the years! I haven't had it on the dyno for any results, but it is better then standard!

What do you suggest Danny? My RS is a road car, daily driver. Would 2.5" be too big? I'm still using the 32/36 carby...

capri v6 mech opening carb is probably a much better option than twin 45,s for all the tricked up road cars .

just copy the formula ford guys with single downdraught weber & all the little tricks they use , they make pretty good economical power for a good road car even a wr 30 cam is perfect all the way to 7
! with a reasonable set of extractors & 2 " exhaust (1 muffler)
lightening the flywheel will help too :wink:

forgot to add running:

12:1 compression ratio
motor was set up for running twin 45's
and running 210hp (unsure whether at the flywheel or at the rears.)
